August 18, 2008 - The Hodgkins Park District and the Village of Hodgkins are inviting you to its annual "Quarry Days", the end-of-summer festival for the residents of the Village of Hodgkins.

Back again will be great music and food, a petting zoo, beer garden, pony rides, bingo, and lots more!

A new and exciting event that will be coming to Quarry Days is "Touch-a-Truck," which showcases vehicles from local businesses in the Village of Hodgkins. For the "Touch-a-Truck" event, Vulcan Materials Company will be brining in one of its loaders and will talk to attendees about their business and their role in the community. Families will also be able to stand right next to the loader and take pictures!
